The dangers for dogs - do not make this fatal mistake!

I would like to share a tragic experience that my wife Liz and I have had with our first Bulldog Lily. Our lives revolved around Lily. It was a beautiful brindle bulldog 62 pounds with a sweet yet fiesty available. All we have for them was. She was our baby before we had children.

A few years after we had Lily, we had a daughter of our own Riley. Lily Riley loved! Each time, Riley was lying on the couch, Lily fell asleep at his feet to protect them. Other times, Lily was only when we wanted to Riley and give it a gentle lick just come to hand.

One night when Riley was just a few months ago, Liz Riley and I went out to get some takeaway. We have left Lily in the hall of the family, as we have always done. She loved her freedom into the room and never got into trouble. Unfortunately, this night is different.

Before we decided that we wanted for dinner, Liz and I took some chips in the family room. We closed the bag, but left it on the coffee table within reach of Lily.

When we arrived home 20 minutes later, I went immediately to the family room to say hello to Lily. I noticed she had an accident in the room and was just able to sneak by his hind legs behind the coffee table. I thought she was asleep.

When I was at the coffee table, I noticed that they had in the bag of chips. I then noticed that Lily had her head stuck all the way into the bag of chips and could not away. I ripped his head and tried him CPR, but it was too late. We lost our beautiful lily that night.

It happened two years ago, but I'm torn when I write this. Bags of potato chips are extremely dangerous for dogs - especially dogs with short face, can leave the head all in.

Since then, we always make sure the chips are not where Maggie (our current Bulldog) can be obtained. We have also always open the bag and the top, then cut completely the part, so there is no way to nip it in the bag.

I really enjoyed this post, especially the “examples in this post” portion which made it really easy for me to SEE what you were talking about without even having to leave the article. Thanks
